Johnie Davidson

Johnie Davidson, 82, of Jonesboro, died Friday morning. He had lived in Jonesboro since 1956, moving here from Joiner, Arkansas. He was of the Baptist belief.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Bill & Nancy Williams Davidson; 3 sisters, Mary Hatcock, Lillie Durman, Maggie Ham; and 2 brothers, William Evert Davidson and Gordon Davidson.

He is survived by his sons, J.D. Davidson, E.J. Davidson, and William Earl Davidson, all of Jonesboro; 19 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, and 5 great-great grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held on Monday at 2:00 p.m. at Pine Log Cemetery with Rev. Leon Minick officiating. Emerson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Active pallbearers will be Jason Davidson, E.J. Jr. Davidson, Jerry Johnson, Jerry Lowery, Roy Davidson, and J.W. Davidson.

Visitation will be held on Monday from 11:30 – 1:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
