John Thomas Yarbro, Jr.

John Thomas Yarbro, Jr. 78 of Jonesboro, passed from this life Tuesday, August 27, 2019 at NEA Baptist Hospital. He was born July 27, 1941 to John Yarbro, Sr and Eunice Smith Yarbro in Camden.  He worked in construction and was also a truck driver.  John enjoyed farming, hunting, race cars and fishing.  He was of the Baptist belief and a proud veteran of the United States Air Force. John is preceded in death by his parents; a son Jamie; daughter, Elizabeth Fay and 2 sisters.

Survivors include his loving wife of 53 years, Charlotte of the home; 4 sons, Jessie Yarbro and John (Lori) Yarbro, all of Jonesboro; James (Rebecca) Yarbro and Jody (Robyn) Yarbro, all of Camden; 2 sisters, Ruth Ann Nix of Camden and Betty Sue Williams of Tulsa, Oklahoma; 11 grandchildren, Jade, Erina, Deana, Nick, Amber, Misty, Jason, Jacob, Tyler, Anna, Chris; 12 great grandchildren with one on the way and 2 great great grandchildren.

A visitation will be Saturday, August 31, 2019 at Emerson Memorial Chapel from 1-2 PM with service starting at 2 PM.  Chaplin Albert Camp will be officiating.

Burial will be private.
