John Stephen Doty

John Stephen Doty, 48 of Jonesboro died Thursday at his residence. He was a lifelong resident of Jonesboro; he was an electrician for Grace Electric, and a member of the Ridgecrest Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his father John P. Doty

Survivors Wife: Mary Smithwick Doty of the home

Step Son: Andy Wicker, Jonesboro

Step Daughter: Samantha Golden, Jonesboro

Brother: Trent Doty, Jonesboro

Mother: Bonnie Cooper Doty, Jonesboro

Grandchildren: Gage Golden, Madison Golden, Colton Wicker, Bailey Wicker

Funeral service will be 2:00 Sunday at Emerson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Robbie McMasters officiating, with burial to follow in Oaklawn Cemetery.

Visitation will be Saturday from 5:00 until 7:00 P.M. at the Emerson Funeral Home in Jonesboro.

Pallbearers will be Bill Kelley, Barry Cothern, Greg Stillwell, Gary Clairday,Tim Bollinger, Jason Lewallen
