John Louis Simon

John Louis Simon, 55, of Jonesboro passed from this life on Thursday, October 18, 2018, at St. Bernard’s Medical Center. John was born in Memphis, Tennessee on July 22, 1963, to Moses Farris Simon Jr., and Juliette Rossie. John lived in Jonesboro for 35 years, moving here from Blytheville. He was a lead tech for Ritter Communications and a member of the First United Methodist Church.

John was preceded in death by his father, Moses Farris Simon Jr. and brother Mark Simon.

Survived by his wife of 25 years, Janiece Simon of the home.

Daughters, Megan  Lindsay Simon and Madison Ashley Simon both of Jonesboro.

Mother, Juliette Rossie of Little Rock.

Brother, Chris Rossie (Maria) of Gilbert, Arizona.

Sisters, Teresa May (Mal May) of Little Rock and Margaret Simon Evans of Lowell, Arkansas.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 20, 2018, at the First United Methodist Church with Rev. John Miles and Rev. Patty Soward officiating. Burial will be private with Emerson Funeral Home in charge.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the church on Saturday.
