John Larry Rhodes

John Larry Rhodes, 72 of Jonesboro died Wednesday, December 14, 2005 at his home. He was born in Huron Tennessee and had lived in Jonesboro for the past 41 years, moving here from Memphis Tennessee.

He was a Past Exalted Ruler for the Jonesboro Elks Club #498 in Jonesboro. He was preceded in death by his parents, Burton & Virgie Rhodes, two sisters, Maureen Hodges and Lois Simonton, a brother, Glenn Rhodes, and a grandson, Blake Riley.

Sons Mark Rhodes, Manassa, VA, Monte Rhodes, Memphis, TN,

Daughters Leigh Riley & Carrie Tibbs, Jonesboro

9 Grandchildren

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Saturday, December 17, 2005 at Emerson Memorial Chapel with Bob Riley officiating and burial to follow at Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery with Emerson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Pallbearers are Fred Pickney, Bob Parham, Tom Craft, Michael Harvey, Evan Riley, Mike Coleman, Mike Riley, and Jerry Tibbs.
