John Edward Turner Obituary

John “Peet” Edward Turner was born to Herbert Edward Turner and Bessie Geneva Turner on March 21, 1949, and died on February 24, 2019, at the age of sixty-nine years.

He was preceded in death by his father, Herbert Edward Turner.

He is survived by his mother, Bessie, of Jonesboro, wife, Karla Turner, of Jonesboro, two sons, Eric (Barbara) of Bolivar, Missouri, Jason (Rhonda) Turner of Jonesboro, and three grandchildren, Kordyn Edward Turner, Emma Katherine Turner, and Landyn Brock Turner. Two siblings, Lana Kimbro and Terry Turner, and two nieces.

He was an active member of Forest Home Church of the Nazarene, and loved his Lord and family. Services will be at Forest Home Church of the Nazarene with Emerson Funeral Home in charge.

Visitation will be Wednesday, February 27, 2019 from 12:30-2:00 with services immediately following with Ken Stallings, Eric Turner, and Jason Turner officiating. Burial will be at Jonesboro Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests gifts to be made to CARTI, Little Rock.
