John Stanley Nance, 54, of Trumann, passed away peacefully, Sunday, May 25, 2025, at his home. He was born October 26, 1970, in Rockford, Illinois, to Roger Nance and the late Sharon Fisher.
John was raised in Bulls Gap, Tennessee, and had lived in Trumann for over 20 years. He worked for Ford for over 20 years and attended Maple Grove Baptist Church. He was a dedicated father and New England Patriots fan. He loved BBQing for family and friends and most of all he loved time with his family, especially his grandchildren, who affectionately called him “Paw Paw”.
He is survived by his wife of 24 years, Laura Nance: his father Roger (Tammy) Nance of Bulls Gap, Tennessee; his dad Charles Fisher of Mulberry, Arkansas; his four sons, Cody Nance of Florida, John (Brooklynn) Nance of Trumann, Arkansas, Devon (Eva Nunez) Nance of Trumann, Arkansas, and Gavin Allen of Texas: three brothers Roger (Judy) Nance Jr. Of Bulls Gap, Tennessee, William Nance of North Carolina, Robert (Charity) Nance of North Carolina; two sisters, Kimberly (Fitzgerald) Barnum of Fort Smith, Shawn Zaki of North Carolina: and seven grandchildren Harlee, Athena, Daniella, Avery, Sophia, Alayna and Levy Nance; and many cousins, nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
