John Hughes Marsh, 63, a lifelong resident of Jonesboro, died Monday, May 24, 2021, at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House. He was born November 10, 1957 to Jan and Patsy Hughes Marsh. He was of the Baptist belief. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and car-racing on dirt tracks. John was a master brick layer as a profession. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Joe Paul Marsh and Gerald Marsh; sister, Janet Jackson; nephew, Buz; and a fur baby, Jami.
Survivors include his lifelong companion, Dana Eaton of Jonesboro; son, John Marsh (Jody) of Jonesboro; daughters, Cheryl Maxwell (Josh) of Brookland; Amanda Eaton of Bono; sisters, Anita Allison; Elizabeth Marsh, both of Jonesboro; grandchildren, John Jr. (Courtley); Dylan (Bre); Shana (Dakota); Karli (Mark) Haylee; Madison, Shelby, Lucas, Molly, Walker; two great grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews and a grand-dog, Baby-Girl.
There will be a public visitation from 5-6:00 Tuesday, May 25, 2021 at Emerson Funeral Home. All other services will be private.
