John Willie Lynn

John Willie Lynn 89 passed away November 20 th , 2020 at his home in Jonesboro, Arkansas. He was born October 26, 1931 to Pearl A. Butler and Charlie T Lynn.

Survived by his adult children, Deborah Lynn Pettus, Michael Marigan Lynn, Cynthia Lynn, Shane Lynn and David Lynn.  Survived by 4 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.

Survived by his only living sister, Doris Street and her children, Terry and Bruce. Surviving nieces and nephews, Linda, Brenda, Gail, Carla, and Denise Simpson and Vivian and Billy Lynn Johnson.

Other family members that survive John are Sherry Lynn, Theresa Lynn, Linda Lynn, Jessica- Rae Wallace, Skylar Pierpoint, and Eugene Pierpoint III and their 5 children.

Survived by Step-daughter Lisa Stacy and her sons, Josh, and Dwayne and Josh’s children JR, Siggy and Hank. Stepson Tom Stacy and his 2 sons, Timothy and Jeremy and niece Jennifer.

John was a retired member of Local 150, with an accomplished career as a Master Mechanic and Master Wielder. There was nothing that he could not fix, weld or build when he put his mind to it.

John enjoyed the outdoors including hunting and fishing, He treasured his times with family and friends, spent at Lake Tunica. Willie and Pauline Morgan were dear lifelong friends and loved by John’s family. John enjoyed their shared times at Branson playing keno and seeing the shows. He was known for his generosity and great sense of humor.  He was known for playing practical jokes.

Most of all he loved his family and really cherished the time spent with his grandkids and great grandchildren that came to visit at his home. John will be missed and remain forever in our hearts.

Due to covid-19 there will not be any services at this time. The family will be holding a “Celebration of Life” at a future date to honor the life of John.
