John "Johnny" Connerley Milum Jr.

July 18, 1948 — January 14, 2023

John “Johnny” Connerley Milum, Jr., 74, passed away on January 14, 2023 at the Flo & Phil Jones Hospice House.

Johnny was born on July 18, 1948 in Batesville, Arkansas to John Connerley Milum and Marian Phillips Milum.

Johnny graduated from Batesville High School in 1966 and went on to have a well-rounded college experience, attending the University of Arkansas, Arkansas State University, and others. He was a lover of music - you could name any song from the 1960s and Johnny would know the artist and lyrics. 1960s rock n’ roll were his favorites. Johnny loved classic movies and old TV shows such as Gun Smoke and Bonanza. He appreciated good food and loved to eat. He was fond of travelling and especially enjoyed travelling to visit friends. Johnny attended Cathedral Baptist Church in Jonesboro and was a great admirer of Brother Doug and even listened to sermons on the radio as his health declined.

Johnny is preceded in death by his parents, John and Marian Milum.

Johnny is survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Margaret Milum of Jonesboro. Other survivors include his two brothers, William Milum of Jonesboro, James Milum of Batesville and his sister, Rebecca Milum Richman of Batesville. Johnny is also survived by several nieces and nephews and many special friends.
