John Hill Jr.

John Hill Jr., 35, of Jonesboro passed from this life Wednesday, October 15, 2014 at his home. He was born July 19, 1979 to John and Reba Hill in Jonesboro. John spent his entire life living in Jonesboro and was also of the Christian faith. He enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, landscaping and just spending time with family. Above all else he loved being a father.

He is preceded in death maternal and fraternal grandparents; mother: Reba Hill; and nephew: Braylen Pippinger.


John is survived by his father: John Hill Sr.; Fiance: Regina Holt; one daughter: Remanda Hill; one sister: Amanda (Robert) Pippinger all of Jonesboro.


Service will be 3 p.m. Saturday, October 18, 2014 at Emerson Funeral Home with Pastor Gary Barker officiating. Burial will follow at Nettleton Cemetery with Jim Heflin, Jonathan Morgan, Marc Brewington, Micheal Little, Seth Lochridge, and Tommy Hughes serving as active pallbearers. Emerson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.


Visitation will be 2pm till the start of the service Saturday, October 18, 2014 at Emerson Funeral home.
