John L. Gagliano, Jr.

John Leo Gagliano, Jr., 77, of Jonesboro, Arkansas passed from this life on Thursday, May 2, 2024 surrounded by those he loved. He was born in Providence, Rhode Island on November 18, 1946 to John L. and Jewell E. Gagliano. John Jr. proudly served his country as a Sergeant in the US Air Force for 8 years as a Master Electrician. In 1980, working as an alarm technician in Las Vegas, Nevada, he met the love of his life, Sharon. They married in 1981 and lived happily until his departure. He is preceded in death by his father and mother, John L. Gagliano, Sr. and Jewell E. Gagliano, and his son, Michael L. Gagliano.

John was a kind-hearted, loving soul that would do anything for anyone. He was a wonderful loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend. John was also a quick-witted master jokester.

Survivors include his wife Sharon Gagliano of Jonesboro; daughter Monica Gagliano-Harris (Devin) of Las Vegas; granddaughters Amanda Gagliano (Raul Rivas) of Lepanto and Christina Dillon (JJ) of West Virginia; and three great-grandchildren.

A visitation will be held on Friday, May 10, 2024 from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. in Emerson Memorial Chapel with a memorial service, officiated by Charles Miller, following at 2:00 p.m. Burial will be private.
