John Edward Cureton

John Edward Cureton, a life-long resident of Craighead County, John was born September 25, 1968, at Jonesboro, Arkansas and died October 3, 2006 at NEA Medical Center in Jonesboro, Arkansas.

He was 38 years old. He went to school at Cash and Westside schools in Craighead County. He was a member of St. Mark’s Episcopal Church.

John is survived by his mother, Joyce A. Cureton, an aunt, Jimmie Cureton, and many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, John L. “Bub” Cureton, and grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. John Cureton and Mr. and Mrs. James Wingo.

Graveside funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at 2:00 at Cash Cemetery with Rev. Joann Barker and Rev. Alan Cureton officiating.

There will be no visitation.
