John T. Douglas, 91, of Jonesboro, died Tuesday, April 7, 2020, at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House. He had lived in Jonesboro since, 1961, moving here from Little Rock. John was of the Baptist belief. He was the owner and pharmacist of Douglas Medical Pharmacy. John served his country during the Korean War as a 1 st Lt. in the US Air Force. He had served his community and state as an Eagle Scout, a member of the ELKS, past president of the Kiwanis, President of the Arkansas Pharmacist Association, and the Executive Director of the Arkansas State Board of Pharmacy. He was preceded in death by his parents and five siblings.
Survivors include is sons, Warren Douglas (June) of Jonesboro; Dale Douglas (Diane) of Springdale; granddaughters, Dana Morrow (Matt); and Debra Wierick (Shawn); and four great grandchildren.
