John Edward Cook, 69, of Jonesboro passed from this life Thursday, July 21, 2022 at NEA Baptist Medical Center. He was born December 17, 1952 in Jonesboro to Willie and Lena Sue Cook. He was a member of Brookland Baptist Church.

A visitation will be held Wednesday, July 27, 2022 from 9-10 am at Emerson Funeral Home. A graveside service will immediately follow the visitation at Pine Log Cemetery in Brookland with Bill Becker officiating.
