John Elroy Champlin

John Elroy Champlin, 72, of Osceola passed from the life on September 24, 2016 at the SMC Regional Medical Center in Osceola. He was born in Trumann on June 28, 1944 to the late Melvin and Eathel Champlin. He had lived in Bay his entire life, retired construction worker and a member of the Allsup Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Candy Michelle Champlin, brother, Bud Champlin and a sister, Margaret Ann Richie.

Survived by his sons, Chuck Champlin (Trish) of Cape May, New Jersey and Bo Champlin of Bay.

Daughter, Donna Alexander of Jonesboro.

Sister, Mable Marie Burmaster of Mt. View, Arkansas.
5 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.

A Celebration of John’s life will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday September 28, at the Bay Community Center, with Brother Leon Minick officiating. Burial will be private with Emerson Funeral Home in charge.

Visitation will be held from 12:30 p.m. until service time at the Bay Community Center.
