John Wayne Brown

John Wayne Brown, 62, of Jonesboro passed away Saturday, May 2, 2020 at his home. He was born to the late Delbert and Zula Brown on December 29, 1957 here in Jonesboro. John lived all of his life residing in Jonesboro where he was a member of Central Baptist Church.

John’s passion was hunting and fishing. Most of all he loved pheasant hunting in South Dakota and fishing in the Lakes of Mississippi. John had 44 years service at Craighead Electric.

In addition to his parents, John is preceded in death by two brothers, Larry Brown and Denny Joe Brown; two sisters, Linda Sue Holmes and Mary Gay Brown.

John is survived by two daughters: Jamie Lynn Brown of Jonesboro and Dana (Alex) Lally of Paragould; two brothers: Jimmy (Debbie) Dale Brown and Michael (Jennifer) Brown both of Jonesboro; two sisters: Marilyn (George) Guerber of Cave City and Jenny ( Stacy) Crisler of Jonesboro; and three grandchildren, Blakely Brown, Jayden Lally, and Jordyn Lally.

A visitation will be held from 5-9pm Thursday, May 7 ^th , 2020 at Emerson Funeral Home.
