Joe Lee Mantle, Jr.

Joe Lee Mantle, Jr., age 45, of Jonesboro, Arkansas, died Sunday afternoon, November 27, 2005, in a 2-vehicle accident south of Brookland, Arkansas, near Busch Agri.

A native and life-long resident of Jonesboro, Joe was employed by Dow Building Services. He was an avid football fan, attended the Methodist Church, and was preceded in death by his father, Joe Mantle, Sr.

Survivors include:

His Wife: Michelle Mantle of Jonesboro;

His Mother: Mary Costner of Jonesboro;

1 Daughter: Amanda Mantle of Jonesboro;
1 Step Daughter: Amber Slater of Jonesboro;

2 Sisters: Sharron Nelson of Jonesboro, and
Debra Bellah of Flippin;

His Maternal Grandmother: Lorene Perkey of Jonesboro.

Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon, December 1, 2005, at 2:00 at Emerson Memorial Chapel with Dewey Groves officiating. Burial will follow in Pine Log Cemetery near Brookland.

Active pallbearers include: Terry Ward, Albert Nance, Terry Shelby, Clarence Cartwright, Frank Wiseman, and Steve Perkey;

Honorary pallbearers include: Eddie Gramlin, Mark Hathcoat, Jeff Smith, and Mike Bellah

Visitation will be held Wednesday evening from 5-7 at Emerson Funeral Home in Jonesboro.
