Joe Hagan, Jr.

August 1, 1956 — October 11, 2007

Joe Hagan, Jr., 51, of Lake City, died Thursday morning at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro.

Born at Hawn Air Force Base, Germany, Joe was raised in Cabot and moved to Lake City 16 years ago. He was a Registered Nurse and was a graduate of Henderson State University. Joe’s experience as a traveling nurse took him throughout the United States during his career.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Joe Hagan, Sr. and Maxine Hagan Washburn.

Survivors include: His Life Partner of 27 years: Jim Spillman of the home;

2 Sisters and Brothers-in-law: Gayle and John Ingram of Cabot, Dana and Dave Herrell of Anchorage, Alaska, and Carletta and Gary Bowers of Lake City; and

Nephews, nieces and a multitude of friends.

A memorial service will be held Sunday afternoon, October 14 at 4:00 at Emerson Funeral Home Chapel in Lake City. Burial will be private.
