Joe E. Mullen, 61, of Jonesboro, passed away Thursday evening at his home of natural causes.
Born in Kansas City, Kansas, Joe first moved to Jonesboro in 1964. He was a Security Guard and a member of Nettleton Church of Christ. He was preceded in death by his parents: James and Cecila Mullen; by a brother, James Elmer Mullen; and by 3 sisters: Jene Newton, Daylene Williams and Rosebud Clemmer.

His wife: Debbie Mullen of the home;
3 Sons: Joe D. Mullen of Paragould,
Tommy Mullen of Montana, and
Shane Irwin of Jonesboro;
4 Daughters: Tricia Huckabee of Arbyrd,
Shanette Samiuddin of Jonesboro, and
Jamie Cooper and
Bobbie Morgan, both of Paragould;
3 Brothers: Richard Mullen of Kansas City,
Mike Clemmer, and
Wayne Clemmer, both of Carthage, Missouri;
6 Sisters: Delta Lindsey of Conway, Missouri,
Dorothy Wiseman of Denver,
Gaylynn Alsup of Viola, and
Cheryl Moore,
Goldie Hudson, and
Peggy Clemmer, all of Paragould;
23 Grandchildren, and
7 Great Grandchildren.
Graveside funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon at 2:30 at Mt. Pisgah Cemetery with Jimmy Young officiating.
Pallbearers include: Kelly Morgan, Jeff Edgar, Tim Moore, Michael Parham,
Tommy Jewell and Tim Cooper.
Visitation will be held Sunday from 12noon until 2:00 at Emerson Funeral Home in Jonesboro.
