Joann Stephens

Joann Stephens, 79, of Jonesboro passed away Tuesday, September 26, 2023 at Ridgecrest Nursing Center. She was born July 18, 1944 in Booneville, Mississippi to the late R.C. and Carrie Owens. Joann was a member of Fairview Missionary Baptist Church. She enjoyed spending time with family, especially her grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Joann was preceded in death by 5 brothers and 2 sisters.

Survivors include her son, Eric (Jody) Stephens of Brookland; daughter, Cindy (Danny) Sheffield of Bono; 4 grandsons: Tyler Stephens of Dixie, Austin Stephens of Bono, Gage Sheffield of Bono, Remington Sheffield of Jonesboro; 2 great granddaughters, Aspen and Ronni Kate Stephens both of Bono and numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial service will be Saturday, September 30, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. in Emerson Memorial Chapel with Chaplin Albert Camp officiating.

Visitation will be from 1:00-2:00 p.m. prior to the service.
