Joann Davis

JoAnn Davis, 77, of Jonesboro passed from this life Sunday, March 6, 2022 at Ridgecrest Health & Rehabilitation in Jonesboro. She was born November 14, 1944 in Waldenburg to the late Clyde and Leota Cox.

JoAnn lived in Waldenburg most of her life but has lived in Jonesboro for over 20 years and was a member of Walnut Street Baptist Church. She loved reading, drawing, watching tv (especially Judge Judy), but her greatest joy was spending time with her family.

In addition to her parents, JoAnn is preceded in death by her brother, Robert Cox.

Survivors include her son, Michael (Carrie) Davis of Jonesboro; sisters, Joyce Griffin of Jonesboro, Goldine Templeton of Jonesboro, Arnita Reed of Olive Branch, MS and a host of other family and friends.

A visitation will be held Tuesday, March 8, 2022 from 12-1 pm at Emerson Funeral Home.

Graveside service will follow at 2 pm at Zion Cemetery in Waldenburg with Bryce King officiating.
