Joan Louise Havert

Joan Louise Havert, 86, of Jonesboro passed from this life Tuesday, March 31, 2015 at St. Bernards Medical Center. She was born September 30, 1928 in Fort Wayne, Indiana to the late Clark and Beatrice Hipsher. Before moving to Jonesboro, Joan worked for Magnavox for many years before retiring. She was of the Methodist faith. Joan loved gardening and flowers.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ivan Havert; daughter, Deborah Havert; brother, Clark Hipsher Jr.; and 2 sisters, Barbara Helmke and Dorotha Hipsher.

Survivors include her son, Ronald Havert (Maureen); daughter, Cheryl Smith (Randy); 4 grandchildren, Nicole Frakes, Marcelle Nuttall, Bobby Brown, and Andrea Doom; 10 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.
