Joan Gould

Joan Gould, 63, a lifelong resident of Jonesboro, died Thursday, April 13, 2017 at St. Bernards Medical Center. She was a member of Herman Baptist Church. She was the secretary/treasurer of R & G Masonry. She enjoyed traveling and loved and cherished the time she spent with her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father, James Murray.

Survivors include her husband of 44 years, Melvin, of the home; son, Sean Gould (Kara) of Brookland; daughter, Lindsey Hooks (Matt) of Jonesboro; mother, Barbara Murray of Bono; brother, Walter Murray of Seattle, Washington; sisters, Jeanette Clayton of Lorado; June Goodman of Laurens, South Carolina; grandchildren, Kyle Gould and Hayes Hooks.

Funeral services will be 10:00 Tuesday, April 18, 2017 at Emerson Memorial Chapel with Royce Boling officiating and Emerson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Visitation will be from 5-7 Monday night at Emersons. Burial will be private.
