Joan Elizabeth Caldwell

Joan Elizabeth Caldwell, 81, of Lake City passed from this life Tuesday, December 7, 2021 at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro. She was born October 13, 1940 in Turtle Creek, Pennsylvania to the late Joseph and Rachel Comer.

Joan has lived in the Lake City area most of her life and was of the Baptist belief. She enjoyed fishing, working out in the yard, and traveling. But her greatest joy was spending time with her family.

In addition to her parents, Joan is preceded in death by her husband, Ken Caldwell; brothers, Joe Comer and Dick Comer as well as her sisters, Thelma Gray and Dorothy Nevels.

She is survived by her daughters, Ramona (John) Duncan of Jonesboro, Kathy (Willie) McKinney of Paragould, Karinda Caldwell of Lake City and Linda Wyman of Mayflower; 9 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at 1pm Thursday, December 9, 2021 at Jonesboro Memorial Park. Joan’s grandchildren will be serving as honorary pallbearers.
