Jimmy Wright

Jimmy Wright, 65, of Jonesboro passed away Sunday, November 17, 2019 at St. Bernards Medical Center. He was born January 1, 1954 in Brinkley to Frances Montgomery and the late Howard Wright. Jimmy was a member of Cathedral Baptist Church. He retired from Craighead Electric after 40 years. Jimmy also enjoyed wood working and was a wood turner. Most of all he loved the Lord and his family.

In addition to his father, Jimmy was preceded in death by his sister, Elizabeth “Sissy” Wright.

In addition to his mother, Jimmy is survived by his wife of 46 years, Mary Wright of the home; son, Jarod (Alison) Wright of Bryant; daughter, Amanda (Jeremy) Escue of Jonesboro; sister, Pat Hester of Jonesboro and 6 grandchildren: Mason, Addie, Annabelle, Lillian, Silas and Oliver Escue all of Jonesboro.

Funeral service will be Wednesday, November 20, 2019 at 9:00 am in Emerson Memorial Chapel with Brother Ken Beaver officiating. Burial will follow at Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery.

Visitation will be Tuesday, November 19, 2019 from 5:00-7:00 pm at Emerson Funeral Home.
