Jimmy Thompson, Jr

Jimmy “J.J.” Dale Thompson Jr. passed from this life in the early morning hours of November 18, 2025 at St. Bernards Hospital. He was born in Wynne, Arkansas on October 21, 1987 to Jimmy Dale Thompson Sr. and Lisa Ann Thompson.

J.J. was raised by his loving grandmother, Linda Glenn, who preceded him in death. J.J. is remembered by a host of friends at the Jonesboro Human Development Center, Pathfinders Day Program, and the United Cerebral Palsy/ Achieve Communities. His housemates, Kevin and Tommy, will miss him tremendously. He is survived by his birth mother, Lisa Wilford.

A Celebration of Life will be held in memory of Jimmy at 10:00 AM on December 2, 2025, at Emerson Funeral Home, located at 1629 E Nettleton, Jonesboro, Arkansas.

As we say goodbye to Jimmy Thompson, Jr., we carry forward his spirit in our hearts, cherishing the light he brought into our lives. His memory will continue to inspire us, reminding us to live fully and embrace the love and joy that he so readily shared with others.
