IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Jimmy
Swindle Jr.
September 13, 1968 – February 13, 2026
Visitation
Emerson Funeral Home
5:00 - 7:00 pm (Central time)
Jimmy Wayne Swindle Jr., 57, of Jonesboro, AR peacefully passed away on Friday February 13, 2026. He was born on September 13, 1968, in Harrisburg, AR to Jimmy Wayne Swindle Sr. and Carolyn Wallis Swindle and grew up in Jonesboro. Jimmy spent his early adult life teaching Kei Shin Kan Karate before beginning a career driving hauling trucks. He met his wife Debbie March 13, 1990. They were married for 35 years and together they raised four children and have eight grandchildren. If you were to ask Jimmy how he would describe his relationship with his wife, he would tell you they’ve had a 35-year love affair.
Jimmy was the type of person that could be dropped in the middle of nowhere and walk out with a friend for life. He always found a reason to laugh and brought so much love to the people around him. He taught his children and grandchildren how to stay strong in difficult situations and most importantly, how to treat others with fairness and kindness first. He enjoyed playing pool and riding his motorcycle on warm sunny days.
He was preceded in death by his father Jimmy Sr., his mother Carolyn, and his sister Sherry Williams. He is survived by his wife Debbie and his four children Carissa, Adam, Kei-Lynn, and Zach. As well as his eight grandchildren Allie-Grace, Harlynn, Kamdyn, Keerstin, Addi, London, Dub, and Parker. In addition to his large family, Jimmy has too many friends to mention individually, but he loved them like family.
His visitation is being held at Emerson Funeral Home in Jonesboro, AR on Sunday February 15, 2026, from 5:00pm to 7:00pm.
There are no words that can describe just how much Jimmy loved and was loved by others. There is comfort in the many stories about his love and friendship that will continue to be told in his memory.
