Jimmy Lee Sturkey Jr.

Jimmy Lee Sturkey Jr., 59, of Jonesboro, died on Wednesday, March 25.  He had lived in Jonesboro since 1964.  He was of the Christian belief.  Jimmy worked for the Arkansas Highway Department for many years.  He loved playing Chess, enjoyed creating BBQ delicacies, basketball and Golf.  He enjoyed life to the fullest spending time with family and friends.  He was preceded in death by his father, Jimmy Lee Sturkey Sr.

Survivors include his sons, Adrian Sturkey; Jimmy Sturkey III of Jonesboro; daughters, Roslyn Walker of Stuggart; Tabitha Stills of Dallas; Janet Perry; brother, Famous Taylor (Kelly) of Jonesboro; sisters Cassandra Sturkey of Jonesboro; Sabrina Jordan, Helen Taylor of Raleigh, North Carolina; Paula Sheppard of Jonesboro; and seven grandchildren.
