Jimmy Dale Rece

Jimmy Dale Rece, 65 of Jonesboro went to be with the Lord Thursday, February 20, 2020 at his home. He was born April 12, 1954 in Monette to Ted Rece and Faye Rece.

Jimmy was a life long resident of Jonesboro and was of the Free Will Baptist belief. He was an avid golfer and also enjoyed race-car driving, hunting and fishing in his younger years.

He is preceded in death by his father, Ted Rece.

Jimmy is survived by his loving wife, Gail Rece of the home; his mother, Faye Rece of Jonesboro; sisters, Deborah Rece, Melissa Shannon and Claudia Carter all of Jonesboro; daughter, Sherry Shafer of Walnut Ridge; step-children, Billy Jack Gatlin of Paragould and Leah Gatlin of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and granddaughter, Sabrina Rowland.
