Jimmy Darrell McDole, 40 , of Jonesboro, died Staurday January 12, 2013 at his home. He was born on February 8, 1972 in Jonesboro and spent most of his life in the Bono/Jonesboro area. He was a 1990 graduate of Westside High School and continued his education at Marked Tree Vocational School where he became a Certified Master Mechanic.

In 1992 Jimmy began his career at Gerald’s Automotive under the guidance of his mentor and friend, Gerald Barnett. He later became the owner under the name of Gerald’s Automotive Repair, LLC. Jimmy was an active member and deacon of the Valley View Church of Christ.

Family came first in Jimmy’s life. The memories left behind include hunting trips to Ravenden with Kelli and Owen and family vacations to the beach.

He is preceded in death by his father Jimmy W. McDole

Jimmy is survived by his high school sweetheart and loving wife of 21 years, Ashley Whitley McDole; daughter, Kelli RaeAnn McDole; son, Owen Hunter McDole, all of the home and Jazmine Skye Trammell, a daughter in his heart; mother, Geneva McDole of Jonesboro; brother, Kevin McDole of Bono; sister and brother-in-law, Dilys and Jason Houser of Omaha, Nebraska; father Jimmy McCain of Jonesboro; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Glen and Linda Whitley of Bono; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Amy and Dale Lipford of Bono; nieces and nephews, Hannah Allen, Devin Lipford, Kyle McDole, Katilyn McDole, and a very special little girl, Devon Lovelace.

Funeral services will be Thursday January 17, 2013 at 10:00 AM at Emerson Memorial Chapel with David Gibson and Michael Meredith officiating. Burial will follow at Trinity Cemetery.

Visitation will be Wednesday from 5:00-8:00 at Emerson Funeral Home.

Active pallbearers will be William Gay, Lynn Turner, John Gilbreath, Dale Lipford, Shawn Smith, Jackie Leonard, Donnie Carter, Cornelius Lovelace, Marc Hogue, and Robbie Kaufman.

Honorary pallbearers are the deacons of the Valley View Church of Christ.
