Jimmy L. Price

Jimmy Layne Price, age 56, of Brookland, Arkanas, died Friday afternoon at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro.

Born in Jonesboro, Jimmy lived all of his life in the Brookland area. He was retired from General Electric Corporation of Jonesboro and was a member of the Baptist Church. He served in the Arkansas National Guard as a Staff Sergeant and was a member of Ducks Unlimited.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Orville Howard and Gracie Hedger Price.

Survivors include:

1 Sister: Lawanda Sue White of Jonesboro;

3 Brothers: Orville Howard Price, Jr. of Nevada,
Lowell Thomas Price of Jonesboro, and
David Ricky Price of Brookland;

4 Nieces: Sondra Scott, Lindsey Miller, Marcia Smart, and Vicky Climer;
3 Nephews: Nathan Price, Jeremy White, and Mike Price; and

Several Great Nephews and Nieces.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon at 1:00 at Emerson Memorial Chapel with Bill Thornton officiating. Burial will follow in Pine Log Cemetery with Emerson Funeral Home of Jonesboro in charge.

Active pallbearers include: Jim Rhea, Duane Price, Danny White, Dale Taylor,
Granville Guest, and Dean Lamberth.

Visitation will be held Monday evening from 5-7 at Emerson Funeral Home.
