Jimmy Thomas Harrell

Jimmy Thomas Harrell, 62, of Jonesboro passed from this life on October 3, 2013. Jimmy was born on January 25, 1951 to Fred and Lois Harrell.

Jimmy was originally from Monette but spent the last 35 years residing in Jonesboro. He was a graduate of Arkansas State University with a BA in Business. Jimmy was former owner of Harrisburg Gin Company. The last 20 years Jimmy was engaged in the trucking industry.

Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Gary Harrell.

He was survived in death by his children, Amy and Mike Wallace of Harrisburg and Ashley and Rusty Feild of Jonesboro. One sister and brother-in-law, Wallece and Jim Brewer of Jonesboro. Two grandchildren Marcy Wallace and Eli Feild. He also had several nieces, nephews and a host of friends.

Graveside service will be 11 a.m. Friday October 11, 2013 at Oaklawn Cemetery with Rev. J. Beth Perdue officiating. Emerson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Jimmy was a voracious reader, so in lieu of flowers please consider donations to the Jonesboro Public library, or any public library.

There will be no visitation.
