Jimmy Ray Hardin

Jimmy Ray Hardin, born August 29, 1944, passed away peacefully at his home on December 19, 2018. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Patty; daughters, Jamie (Eric) Allen of Russellville and Shelley Dhane of Brookland; son, Lynn Hardin of Pottersville; sister, Martha (Gary) Smith of Jonesboro; one niece, Robin (Tim) Johnson of Jonesboro; nephew, Tracy (Gayla) Smith of Jonesboro; 8 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren and a special friend, Mark Doty.

Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents Gladys and Hans Hardin.

Jimmy was a life time resident of Jonesboro and graduated from Nettleton High School in 1962. He retired from Southwest Power Administration. Jimmy enjoyed deer hunting, reading western books and drag racing his chevy nova at George Ray’s drag strip. His greatest love was his family.

Visitation will be Friday, December 21, 2018 from 4:00-6:00 p.m. at Emerson Funeral Home.

Burial will be private.
