Jimmy Goad

Jimmy Goad, 50, of Jonesboro, died Sunday, September 24, 2017 at NEA Baptist Medical Center.  He was a lifelong resident of Jonesboro.  Jimmy was of the Baptist belief.  He loved spending time with his family and friends.  Other passions he had, was for fishing, enjoying music.  He was a serious history buff and a gun enthusiast.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Clyde and Janet Barber.

Survivors include his wife of nine years, Karen Goad, of the home; daughters, Brooke Fojt (Cody); Sara Smith (Michael); brother, David Goad; all of Jonesboro;  sister, Stacy Deal of Marion Arkansas and grandmother, Martha Andrews (Bill) of Brookland; and a host of other family and friends.

A memorial service will be Friday, September 29, 2017 at 6:00 PM with Bill Andrews officiating and Emerson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.  Burial will be private.  Visitation will be from 4:30 – service time. To sign an online registry, go to emersonfuneralhome.com.
