Jimmy Doyle Lemons, 65, of Jonesboro, died Monday, July 18, 2011, at the McClellan Memorial Veterans Hospital in Little Rock.
Born in Pocahontas, Jimmy lived in the Jonesboro-Brookland-Trumann area most of his life. He was a commercial painter and worked in construction. He was a U.S. Army veteran and was preceded in death by his father, Eresell Lemons and a brother, Jerry Lemons.
Survivors include 2 sons, Phoenix Lemons of Atlanta and Michael Lemons of Trumann; 1 daughter, Marcia Claudil of Kentucky;
His mother, Glenda Lemons of Jonesboro;
2 brothers, Dennis Lemons of Mountain Home, and Scotty Lemons of Goobertown;
4 grandchildren, Cody Lemons, Adrian Lemons, Eliza Claudil and Jaden Claudil.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday evening at 7:00 in Emerson Memorial Chapel with Rev. Mike Martin officiating. Burial will be private.
Visitation will be held Wednesday evening from 5:00 until service time in Emerson Chapel.
