Jimmy David Davis, 57, of Jonesboro, died Monday afternoon at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro.
Born in Jonesboro, Jimmy David lived most of his life in the Trumann-Jonesboro area. He was the store manager of Merle Norman Cosmetics in the Mall at Turtle Creek and was a member of Shepherd’s Heart Church, north of Jonesboro.
He was a 1967 graduate of Trumann High School and was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War with 9 years of active duty. He was preceded in death by his father, James A. Davis, Jr.
Survivors include: His wife: Sandra Travis Davis of the home;
1 daughter: Dee Davis of the home; and
His mother: Maxine Hinds Haun of Jonesboro.
Funeral services will be held Thursday morning at 10:00 at Emerson Memorial Chapel with Pastor James Strait officiating. Burial will follow in Jonesboro Memorial Park.
Active pallbearers include: Jeff Gammon, Kevin Gammon, Brent Bristow, Rick McKenzie, Tommy Davis and Gerry Hinds.
Visitation will be held Wednesday evening, 6-8, at Emerson Funeral Home.
