Jimmy Dewayne Champlin Sr., 55, of Jonesboro passed from this life on Monday December 4, 2017 at Jonesboro Healthcare. He was born in Trumann, Arkansas on May 9, 1962 to the late John Dewayne and Kathy Pugh Champlin Sr. Jimmy lived in Jonesboro for 2 years, moving here from Bay. He was a construction worker and a member of the Allsup Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister; Candi Champlin.

Survived by his son; Jimmy Champlin Jr. of Rio Grande, New Jersey.

Daughter; Leanne Compton of Rio Grande, New Jersey.

Brother; Chuck Champlin of Cape May, New Jersey.

Sister; Donna Alexander of Jonesboro.

Grandson; Hunter Compton.

2 nephews Frank Marrs ( Jennifer) and Paul Marrs (Tabitha)
