Jimmy Allen Hoy, 63, of Jonesboro, died Friday at his home of natural causes.
A native and life-long resident of Jonesboro, Jimmy was the owner and operator of A’s Fish House and Fish-A-Hoy Restaurants in Jonesboro. He was a U.S. Navy veteran and was of the Baptist belief.
Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents: James and Jewell Hoy.
Survivors include:
2 Sons: James Allen Hoy of Jacksonville, Florida, and
Terry Hoy of New Orleans, Louisiana;
3 Daughters: Deborah Lynn Davis of Jonesboro,
Lynn Nicole Hurst of Russellville, and
Lindsey Bivins of Jonesboro;
1 Brother: Gary Hoy of Jonesboro;
9 Grandchildren, and
4 Great Grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Monday afternoon at 1:00 at Emerson Memorial Chapel with Rev. Don Vuncannon officiating. Burial will follow in Pine Hill Cemetery.
Active pallbearers include: Roy Dale Davis, Bobby McDaniel, Bobby Jr. Ishmael,
Don Barber, Jim Gallion, Brandon Dale Davis, Mike Hurst and Clovis Swinney.
Honorary pallbearers include: Terry Hoy and James Hoy.
Visitation will be held Sunday afternoon, 3-5, at Emerson Funeral Home in Jonesboro.
