Jimmie Dean Pirtle, 62, of Lake City, passed away Monday December 3, 2007 at St. Bernards Medical Center.
He was born in Manila, Arkansas and lived in Lake City for ten years, moving there from Jonesboro.
He was a retired carpenter and a Vietnam Army Veteran and of the Baptist belief.
He was preceded in death by his parents Jesse Pirtle and Louise Peach Pirtle, four brothers and three sisters.
Survived by his loving wife; Linda Pirtle of the home.
One son; John Pirtle of Lake City.
Two daughters; Tana Schoonover and Stephanie Hartl, both of Jonesboro.
Two brothers; Michael Pirtle of Fayetteville.
Jessie Pirtle of Jonesboro.
One sister; Betty Joe Lemley of Monticello, Arkansas
Three grandchildren; Justin and Jarrett Pirtle and Dylan Wilmoth.
Funeral service will be 2:00 P.M. Wednesday December 5, 2007, at Emerson Memorial Chapel, with Rev. Don Belk officiating. Burial will be at Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery with Emerson Funeral Home of Jonesboro in charge of arrangements.
Visitation will be from 5-7:00 P.M. Tuesday December 4, 2007 at Emerson Funeral Home in Jonesboro.
Active pallbearers will be Paul Hughes, Leslie Wilkerson, Jason Peck, Dustin Campbell, Billy Pirtle and Randy Garner.
Honorary pallbearers will be Jim Wilmoth, Dillard Raitliff, Josh Campbell, Brody Swick, and Dr. Sanders McKee.
