Jimmie Carolyn Heller, 80, of Jonesboro, passed away on November 4, 2025, at St. Bernards Medical Center. She was born on September 10, 1945, in Almara, Arkansas, to G.D. and Pauline Teal.
Carolyn dedicated 20 years of her life to teaching in the Jonesboro School System, where she influenced countless young minds. In her free time, she enjoyed working on puzzles and needle crafts such as cross-stitching. Above all, Carolyn loved caring for her family and spending time with those she held dear.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Billy Teal; and her sister, Rosie Langston.
Carolyn is survived by her loving husband, Mac Heller; her sons, Jeffrey Heller and wife Susan and Steven Heller; her brother, Bobby Teal and wife Patty; and her granddaughter, Anna Heller. She is also survived by her nephew, Wayne; nieces, Cathy, Jammie, Bethany, and Rebekah; as well as several great-grandnieces, great-grandnephews, great-great grandnephews, and a great-great grandniece who will cherish her memory.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, November 7, 2025, at 1:30 p.m. at Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery.
