Jimmie Lee Garrison, 73, of Jonesboro died Sunday December 2, at St. Bernard’s Medical Center. He was born and had lived most of his life in Jonesboro. He was a U.S. retired Navy Veteran of 30 years, where he worked as a senior chief mechanic and was of the protestant belief.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Mildred Shelton Garrison; brother, Eugene Garrison; step daughter, Susan Ciontea.
Survived by his loving wife, Mary Nadine Blanchard-Garrison of the home; daughter, Judy Wall (Jeff) of Mount Vernon, New Hampshire; son, Bill Garrison (Jerri) of San Antonio, Texas; daughters, Terri Winget (John) of Seattle, Washington; Tammy Bryan (Mike) of Colorado; Kelly Ranager (Jarvis) of Lucedale, Mississippi. Three step-daughters, Sandra Headrick of Mary Ester, Florida; Lisa Betts (David) of Jonesboro; Kristi Lea (Adam) of Jacksonville, North Carolina.
Sister; Sue Long and Faye Flannigan.
Fourteen grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday December 6, with Dr. Richard Neeley officiating. Emerson Funeral Home in charge.
There will be no visitation.
