Jimmie Doyle Farmer

May 12, 1967 — February 19, 2018

Jimmie “Doyle” Farmer was born in Walnut Ridge, AR on May 12, 1967. He left this life unexpectedly at his home in Pocahontas, AR on February 19, 2018.

Jimmie loved to laugh and make everyone around him laugh. He was creative and could build anything. Jimmie had passion for gardening, collecting, fishing, camping, hunting, hiking and anything outdoors. He loved music and singing, somehow he knew the words to every song. Jimmie enjoyed traveling, new experiences, trying new foods and meeting people along the way.

He was a lifelong resident of Craighead County until October 2017 when he and his wife bought a small farm in Randolph County.

Jimmie was a licensed electrician by trade following in his father’s footsteps.

He was preceded in death by his father and best friend, Jim Farmer; grandparents, Benton and Lola Mae Farmer and Washington and Marze Doyle.

He is survived by his wife, Lisa Rouse Farmer; two children, Holly Kirklin (Tyler) and Matt Farmer (Carly); his sister, Lisa Coots (Ronnie); and his beloved mother, Gina Eidson and step father Jonny Eidson; his grandson and buddy, William Ryder Curtis. Jimmie also left a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces and a lifetime of friends and acquaintances.
