Jimmie D. Hall, 73, of Lake City, died Friday, April 29, 2016, at his home.
Jimmie was born in Lake City and lived all of his life there. He was a farmer and also worked at Crane Corporation, DuPont, General Electric and BP Kemlite Manufacturing, all in Jonesboro. Jimmie was a Christian and enjoyed attending dances at the Jonesboro Senior Citizens Center and gardening. He enjoyed watching St. Louis Cardinal baseball and was an avid fan and supporter of the Riverside Rebels basketball teams.
Jimmie was preceded in death by his parents: Fred A. and Winnie Vestal Bryant Hall, and by a brother, Thomas Fred Hall.
Survivors include 3 sons and daughters-in-law: Kevin Hall of Lake City, Keith and Pansy Hall of Little Rock, and Kyle and Adrienne Hall of Jonesboro;
1 sister, June Henry of Jonesboro;
2 grandchildren: Brad (Cheri) Hall and D'Anna Parra; and
2 great grandchildren: Addison Hall and Luke Hall.
Visitation will be from 5 pm-8 p.m. Wednesday at Emerson Funeral Home in Jonesboro.
Graveside funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday in Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery with Greg Rainwater and Darin Owens officiating.
Active pallbearers include Darin Owens, Ben Barnes, Blake Barber, Jay Little and Robbie Love.
