Jimmie Marion Cureton

Jimmie Marion Cureton, 86 of Jonesboro passed from this life Thursday, March 2, 2017, at St Bernards Medical Center. She was born August 28, 1930, to John and Zee Lankford Cureton in Cash. Jimmie was a member of the StoneRidge Church of Christ. She loved people, having taught school for 42 years at the Cash and Westside Schools. She enjoyed art projects, knitting and puzzles. Jimmie was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, John L. Cureton and nephew, John E. Cureton.

Visitation will be Monday, March 6, 2017, at Emerson Memorial Chapel from 5-7 PM. Service will be Tuesday, March 7, 2017 at 10:00 AM, with Dick Blackford officiating. Burial will follow at the Cash Cemetery with Emerson Funeral Home in charge.

Honored to serve as pallbearers will be Steve Lands, Travis Moody, Kemuel Camp, Paul Pierce, Josh Cureton and Jonathan Stubblefield. Honorary Pallbearers: Daniel Thetford, Mann Priest, Judy Johnson, Lester Watkins, Joan Rose.
