Jim Pieri

Jim Pieri, 76, of Jonesboro passed from this life Wednesday, December 12, 2018 at his home. He was born on July 25, 1942 in Jonesboro to the late Albert and Mary E. Pieri.

Jim has lived in Jonesboro for over 30 years after living in California and was a member of Forest Home Church of the Nazarene. Jim served our great country for 20 years before retiring from the Army. He loved going camping, mountain climbing, fishing, visiting the sick and Arkansas Razorback Football.

Jim is preceded in death by his parents.

Jim is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Velma Pieri, of the home; son, Scott Pieri of Jonesboro; daughters, Lisa (Kendal) Foster of Paragould, Julie (Robert) Geha of Jonesboro; brother, Bob Pieri and granddaughters Marissa Foster and Meagan Foster both of Paragould.

Visitation will be held Friday December 14, 2018 from 5-7 pm in the Emerson Memorial Chapel.

Funeral Service will be held Saturday December 15, 2018 at 2pm in the Emerson Memorial Chapel with Reverend Ken Stallings officiating. Burial will follow at Shiloh Cemetery in Jonesboro.

Honorary pallbearers include Bobby Baker, Kendal Foster, Robert Geha, Sheldon Adamson, Jewell Sellars, Jerry Seats and Don Rush.
