Jim Henry Graham, Jr., 73, of Jonesboro, formerly of Keiser, passed away from this life on Saturday, May 19, 2018, in Jonesboro. He was born in Dell, Arkansas on May 27, 1944, to the late Henry and Olean Graham. Henry attended Keiser High School and graduated in 1962.
Henry will be remembered for many things, but his love of sports and joke telling were never ending. He loved to take a moment with a joke and wait for that priceless reaction. He truly enjoyed sports and loved cheering on the Arkansas Razorbacks, St. Louis Cardinals and the Rivercrest Colts. Henry coached Keiser peewee baseball and basketball for many years, never tiring of seeing his team progress. He loved playing men’s softball and played for many years. Henry was a member of the Walnut Street Baptist Church. He worked for American Greetings in Osceola for 35 years, before retiring from Wal-Mart in 2006.
Henry is survived by his wife of 55 years, Patsy Spence Graham. They were married on March 9, 1963. Henry leaves two sons, Randy Graham of Las Vegas, Nevada; Rusty Graham and wife, Lisa of Bono; three grandchildren, Matthew Graham and wife, Jocelynn, of Shreveport, Louisiana; Zachary Graham of Bryant, Arkansas and Natalie Graham of Memphis. He leaves one brother, Danny Graham and wife, June, of Keiser, Arkansas and one aunt, Esther Greenhaw, of Harrison.
Funeral services will be 11:00 AM, Thursday, May 24, 2018, at Emerson Memorial Chapel with Brothers Jerry Parker and Todd Vinson officiating and Emerson Funeral Home in charge. Burial will be in Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery with Frank Fleming, Johnny Fleming, Dale Greenhaw, Darrell Greenhaw, Keith Greenhaw, Kerry Greenhaw, Chris Spence and Dale Spence serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers are Paul Hillard, Ronald Martin, Johnny McLean, Tony McLean, Ronnie Parnell and the 1962 graduating class of Keiser High School. Visitation will be from 10:00 until service time.
