Jim Fisher

January 11, 1935 — April 15, 2015

Jim Fisher, 80, of Lake City, died Wednesday, April 15, 2015 at his home. He has lived in Lake City for the past 25 years, moving here from Michigan. Jim was of the Christian belief. He served his country in the United States Marine Corps and was the owner operator of Fisher Radiator. Jim was a master mechanic and aluminum welder. He was the father of many, very wise, and a friend to everybody. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Bill Fisher.

Survivors include a son, James Fisher (Diane) of Lake City; step-sons, Craig Frayer of Cape Girardeau; Chris Frayer of Paragould; daughters, Colleen Castone of Lake City; Norean Jones of Paragould; Diana Walters of Freemont, Indiana; brothers, Carroll Fisher of Centerville, Michigan; Shelby Fisher of Indianapolis; Bobby Fisher of Lubbock, Texas; Jerry Fisher of Leachville; sisters, Geraldine Shauffner of Illinois and Norma Jean of Memphis, Tennessee; 14 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.

Funeral services will be 3:30 Saturday, April 18, 2015 at Emerson Memorial Chapel with Phillip Brown officiating and Emerson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Burial will be at Lake City Cemetery with grandsons and great grandson serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be from 2:30 until service time.
