Jim Copeland

Jim Copeland, 72, of Trumann passed from this life on Thursday, May 21, 2015. He was born in Jonesboro on November 15, 1942 to the late Alfred and Cleffie Mae Copeland. Jim was a member of the Nettleton Masonic Lodge #657 and the Shriners. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and drag racing. Jim is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, J.R. Copeland and Don Copeland.

Jim is survived by his sons, Tim Copeland of Gallatin, Tennessee and Brent Copeland (Carol Jane) of Trumann; brothers, Barry Copeland of Trumann and Chris Copeland of Little Rock; sister, Sue Byrd of Trumann. Jim also leaves behind six grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 23, 2015 at Emerson Memorial Chapel with Bro. Stan Ballard officiating. Burial will follow at Pine Hill Cemetery with the active pallbearers being Scotty Copeland, Kelly Copeland, Steve Simpson, Charlie Nance, Mike Darling, Bubba Grimmer, and Lyle Grimmer. The honorary pallbearers will be Brett Copeland, David Byrd, Jimmy Rutherford, and Donnie Davis.

Visitation will be prior to the service from 10:00-11:00 a.m.
