Jim William Bray

Jim William Bray, 75, of Jonesboro departed this life on August 10, 2023 at the Flo & Phil Jones Hospice House surrounded by his family. He was born August 22, 1947 to the late Thomas and Velma Bray in Marlow, Oklahoma.

He moved from Salem, AR in 1989 to Jonesboro. Jim enjoyed riding his bike, wood working, playing pool, watching football and baseball, spending time with his family, especially taking care of his dogs.

Jim is survived by; his wife of 55 years, Jeannie Bray of the home; one son, Jason Bray of Portland, OR; two daughters, Vanessa Cowan of Hot Springs, AR, Jalyn Crossen of the home; two brothers, Tom Bray Jr (Harietta) of Bakersfield, CA, Larry Bray (Linda) of Sweet Home, OR; two sisters, Phyllis Parrot (Dale) of Lanton, MO, Geraldine Becker (Larry) of Dover, Arkansas; eleven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and a lifetime of friends.

Family and friends will be gathering Saturday, August 19, 2023, beginning at 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. at Emerson Funeral Home. Burial will be private.
